Day Services Groups

We aim to improve the quality of life for those living with life limiting illnesses by offering therapeutic care and a range of activities.

We will provide a group tailored to your individual needs, offering support to help you cope and address the physical and emotional challenges you may face due to your illness.

At Pendleside Hospice, our day service groups offer a wide range of support and activities, including creative therapies like Make it Monday and Shabby Shed, as well as dementia support groups, palliative care groups, and more.

Family members and carers are welcome to stay with their loved ones during the sessions or they may wish to take some respite for themselves.

At every group, a freshly prepared afternoon tea box is provided, with accommodations for special or cultural dietary needs. Participants can form new friendships, receive support to manage their condition, and maintain independence.
