Meals on Wheels

Providing delicious, nutritious, home-cooked meals to the residents of Burnley and Pendle who face challenges in preparing meals for themselves.

Pendleside Hospice’s Meals on Wheels service delivers fresh, homemade meals to residents unable to cook for themselves, including the elderly, vulnerable, and those with life limiting illnesses.

With skilled chefs and a varied menu, the service offers hot lunches and optional afternoon teas, delivering not only delicious meals but also social interactions and wellbeing checks.

Meals are delivered daily, 365 days a year, by our dedicated and compassionate volunteer drivers. Since its launch in 2020, Pendleside Hospice’s Meals on Wheels service has grown to provide over 100 meals per day to the local community.

Please note, due to our kitchen environment and processes, we are unable to accommodate food allergies, intolerances, or custom menu requests.
