Work Experience

At Pendleside, we can provide a wide range of work experience opportunities, across various departments throughout the Hospice.

We recognise the importance of young people getting support in their career choices and developing their work-ready skills. We’re proud to work closely with schools and colleges to achieve this.

We welcome work experience candidates from all backgrounds, especially those considering careers in health and social care or other support roles in the sector. Each year, Pendleside offers valuable opportunities to students through visits and placements arranged with local schools and colleges.

Students aged 14 and above can gain hands-on experience in our health, wellbeing, and rehabilitation services while learning about other areas of the Hospice.

If you’re interested in a placement or know someone who is, reach out early as spaces are limited and fill quickly.
