About the event

Ready to take on the Great Manchester Half Marathon 2026?

Run for Pendleside Hospice and help provide vital care and support for local patients and families.

By joining Team Pendleside, you’ll receive a charity place in the Great Manchester Half Marathon and support from our fundraising team every step of the way. We ask runners to aim for a fundraising target of £150, which will help us continue delivering compassionate care across the community.

Whether it’s your first half marathon or your next challenge, we’d love to have you involved!

Why take part?

  • Support from our fundraising team throughout your challenge, including a fundraising pack and regular updates.
  • Your own personalised Pendleside Hospice running top.
  • The opportunity to raise vital funds for people living with life-limiting illnesses and their families across Burnley and Pendle.

Already secured your own place?

If you’re lucky enough to be successful in the general ballot, we’d still love for you to run for Pendleside Hospice and support our vital work. As part of Team Pendleside, you’ll receive the same dedicated fundraising support, advice and encouragement to help you make the most of your challenge.

For fundraising support or advice, please contact Sheila Helm, Supporter Engagement Fundraiser, on 01282 440 136 or email sheila.helm@pendleside.org.uk.

We’d be delighted to help you every step of the way.
