About the event

Back by popular demand, the Mountain Bike Challenge is returning for 2026! After last year’s incredible turnout, we’re ready to take it up a gear for the third year!

Take on one of three exciting routes through the Pendle and Burnley countryside while raising vital funds for Pendleside Hospice.

Riders of all abilities can choose from three circular routes inspired by the Pendle witches – the 9.5-mile Demdike, 22-mile Chattox, or 32-mile Nutter. Each starts and finishes at Towneley Park, Burnley, showcasing stunning scenery and varied terrain.
