About the event

Join the 5k Santa Dash

Get ready to put on your Santa suit and dash through the beautiful grounds of Towneley Park – all to support Pendleside Hospice! Bring your friends, family, and festive spirit for a 5km sponsored circular run.

Event Details

  • Marshalled and signposted Parkrun 5km route

  • Suitable for all ages and fitness levels

  • Expected completion time: 30 minutes – 1.5 hours

  • Please wear suitable clothing and footwear

  • Stay hydrated: bring water for before, during, and after your dash

  • Dogs are welcome, but they must be on a lead, under control, and cleaned up after

Registration & Fees

  • Adults: £20

  • Children (15 & under): £10

  • Family (2 adults + 2 children): £35. Additional children: £10 each

Already have a Santa suit? We’re giving individuals who use their own suit a discount on their registration fee!

  • Adults: £3 discount

  • Children: £2 discount

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I swap my suit for a different size? +

Unfortunately not. To reduce waste, we only order what's required based on registrations. We therefore advise that you size up.

Are dogs allowed on the run? +

Yes! We welcome dogs, and even have some Pendleside-branded doggy bandanas for your four-legged friends to wear. These can be bought on the day of the event. Please ensure that dogs are kept on their leads at all times and you clean up after them, thank you.

Is the route safe for pushchairs or wheelchairs? +

Yes the route is accessible for pushchairs and wheelchairs.

What should I do in case of an emergency during the run? +

Always ring 999 in case of a medical emergency.
