Three generations of the Holt family 

Michael Holt raised funds for Pendleside Hospice by hosting an art exhibition featuring work from three generations of his family. Artwork by Michael, his father Colin, his late brother Nigel, and their late grandfather Albert was displayed and sold, with all proceeds donated to the Hospice.

The fundraiser was held in memory of Nigel, who was cared for at Pendleside Hospice at the end of his life and had previously raised money for the charity through his own art. The Holt family had also experienced the Hospice’s support years earlier, strengthening their connection to the cause.

Michael was further inspired by the ongoing care Pendleside Hospice provided to him and his wife Carole following her dementia diagnosis. The exhibition honoured his family’s artistic legacy while giving thanks for the compassion and support the Hospice has shown them.
