Family & Bereavement Support

Pendleside Hospice has a dedicated Family Support Centre, which consists of four dedicated counselling rooms, with one room specifically designed for children.

Pendleside Hospice provides support and counselling to adults, children and families who are caring for a loved one or who have been affected by a bereavement, and who live within the Burnley and Pendle communities.

Support and counselling sessions can be delivered in a variety of ways, including individual face-to-face sessions, family sessions, group sessions and individual telephone sessions. Support can also be provided in the community and within schools.

Individuals are able to refer themselves to the service and we also accept referrals from relatives, carers, healthcare professionals, and schools.

We have a private voicemail so if you need to leave a message you can do so safely and with confidentiality assured.
