Counselling

Pendleside Hospice offers person-centred counselling and integrative psychotherapy to help people process their thoughts, feelings and emotions concerning bereavement.

Our support is offered to those affected by a death, or who have a close person in their life withan advancing long term and life limiting illness.

Each person will receive a personalised course of therapy tailored to their individual needs. This may include psychoeducation on common emotions, thoughts, and feelings; exploration of their personal experiences and current life situation; and emotional planning for the future.

Support is provided in a confidential one-to-one setting where you can explore what you have experienced with someone impartial, who will listen empathically and be there alongside you during the process.

Individuals who live in Burnley and Pendle are able to refer themselves to the service and we also accept referrals from relatives, carers and healthcare professionals.
