Support for Carers

Pendleside Hospice provides a variety of support services for carers, and their loved ones, living in Burnley and Pendle.

At Pendleside Hospice, we work closely with other local organisations to offer a wide range of options, ensuring you receive the support you need.

Our Carer’s Groups are open to anyone caring for someone with an advancing long term or life limiting illness who is known to the Hospice. These groups offer invaluable peer support and wellbeing sessions led by our health, wellbeing, and rehabilitation team.

The Thursday group welcomes carers to bring their loved ones, who will participate in a separate session, while the Saturday group is exclusively for carers. Both groups include a buffet lunch and refreshments. Please note, dates may vary due to bank holidays, so we encourage you to confirm by calling 01282 440 127 before visiting.
