Hospice at Home

Pendleside’s Hospice at Home team work within the Burnley and Pendle communities, providing care, compassion and support to people aged 17 years and over.

When a referral has been received, a member of the Hospice at Home team will arrange an initial assessment, to discuss the patient’s needs.

Our Hospice at Home team operates 7-days a week and includes nursing assessments, symptom management, crisis care and support, supported discharge from hospital, urgent response to deterioration in a patients’ condition, respite visits, night sits and end of life care.

If a person’s condition changes and they need extra support from Hospice at Home, please contact us on 01282 440 106, and we will arrange a review as soon as possible.

Referrals can be made by patients, relatives, carers, and healthcare professionals.
