Schools & Colleges

Pendleside Hospice has many strong links to the nurseries, schools and colleges in Burnley and Pendle, which we are grateful to have the amazing support of.

From preschool aged children, right up to Further Education and college students, we are supported by young people right across the local community of Burnley and Pendle. Developing relationships with both the young people and their teachers and tutors, we work together to achieve both fundraising and educational goals. If your school or college would like to find out more about how we can work together, please get in touch.

Pendleside Hospice’s Annual Bunny Hop

The Bunny Hop campaign is a yearly fundraising initiative which runs over the Easter period and we invite all local nurseries and primary schools to take part! Hopping around the school yard, hall or playing field, children aim to gain sponsorship for the Hospice, and in return we thank each one of them with a certificate and chocolate egg. To date, our Bunny Hop has engaged with 62 different organisations and raised over £170,000.
