Providing care, compassion & support

Pendleside Hospice is here for everyone in Burnley and Pendle facing the challenges of advancing long term or life limiting illness, or coping with the loss of a loved one.

We can’t add days to your life, but we can add life to your days.

Since 1988, Pendleside Hospice has been a pillar of palliative care, offering support and compassion to individuals, their families, and carers, across Burnley and Pendle. We deliver our services with unwavering dedication, compassion, and respect, always placing people at the heart of everything we do.

As our founder and former Chairman, Muriel Jobling MBE, once said, Pendleside Hospice was built by the community, for the community—a legacy we proudly uphold today. Thanks to our generous supporters, our services continue to grow, allowing us to provide the vital care our patients, families, and carers need.
